mission
Live Struggle Legacy is a creative movement put in motion as a collaboration of personal struggles brought to life through the art of music. We create a platform for artists to be able to tell their stories, transforming their personal struggles into relevant content to be shared with the world. Inspired by a recording artist who lost his life in prison with just a month left on a 10 year sentence, Live Struggle Legacy shines a light on some of the dark stories that the world needs to hear. An elixir for change, we are the spark that ignites the flame of inspiration as we support one-another in turning our dreams into reality. Now…who’s ready to stand up with us?

No Time is a musical short-film depicting the struggle of holding onto a dream while fighting the temptation of the streets. This is no facade. This is our everyday life.
Live Struggle Legacy
MP
This song is a dedication to Timothy "Big Baby" Lewis, the inspiration behind the Live Struggle Legacy movement, Big Baby lost his life in prison as a result of a negligent healthcare system. He only had a few months left on a 10 year sentence before an aneurysm in his leg ruptured and killed him instantly. MP is determined to keep his legacy alive and wrote this song as a dedication to Big Baby. The theme song for the movement inspired by Big Baby, this track offers empathy, compassion, and inspiration for anyone struggling to make their dreams come true. Just days after learning about the death of Big Baby, MP wrote the lyrics on the city bus while commuting to the halfway house. The music was recorded at the MIRA studio of St. Petersburg College. The instrumental is comprised of live performances by student musicians in the MIRA program: Eric Yoder plays guitar, Samer Jaber plays the Rhodes keyboard, Evan Alperstein plays the bass, and Ian Florence plays the drums. The saxophone was performed by Austin Vickrey of the Florida Orchestra. All vocals were written and performed by MP. All instruments were mic'd and recorded by MP with the help of MIRA interns. The song was mixed by MP and Victoria Crumbley with a final touch by Engineer Pat at Summit Studios.
